Halo 3 Figure Packaging and Specs Revealed



McFarlane Toys has released packaged shots of all of thier upcoming figures from Series 1, which is due out this upcoming March. Fans have already expressed like and dislike for the packaging style. Figure specifications were also revealed. We'll take a look at those first, followed by the packaged photos. Click the photos to see the larger versions. Master Chief:
Stands 5 inches tall.
Articulated at neck, shoulders, wrists, waist, hips, knees, ankles and toes.
Includes grenades and assault rifle.




Cortana:
Figure stands 4½ inches high on 4 1/8-inch diameter by 7/8-inch tall light-up base.





Jackal Sniper:
Stands 4¾ inches tall.
Articulated at neck, shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, waist, knees and ankles.
Includes beam rifle.




Brute Chieftan:
Stands 6¾ inches tall.
Articulated at neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, waist hips, thighs, knees and ankles.
Includes gravity hammer.




Grunt:
Stands 3¾ inches tall.
Articulated at neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles.
Includes plasma pistol, needler and removable facemask.




Spartan:
Stands 5 inches tall.
Articulated at neck, shoulders, wrists, waist, hips, knees, ankles and toes.
Includes grenades and assault rifle.

And to remind everyone what the Spartan variants are for Series 1

The Spartan will be available in six different versions:


  • Mark VI (red): available at all retailers
  • Mark VI (blue): exclusive to Wal-Mart
  • Mark VI (white): exclusive to specialty stores
  • C.Q.B. (blue): exclusive to Wal-Mart
  • C.Q.B. (steel): exclusive to Gamestop
  • E.V.A. (red): available at all retailer

Can you be a bit more specific as to what kind of articulation? Are there ball joints? If so where in relation to cut joints. Thanks

I can't be more specific, but those are the specs from Spawn.com and all I would be able to do it speculate as they appear to vary by figure.

I know that they are using ball-joints in some of the figures. I'd assume they'd be on the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and ankles. It also appears that there's a ratchet feature in the hinges.

I can easily tell you anything you need to know if I get an advance sample or once I get the figures since I hope to do a full review
