Chaos Reigns... With action figures

I expect to get this up and running soon. For now, here's a few thoughts:

I think that most people tend to forget that action figure collectors don't have to be the whining uptight fanboys that many believe. There's nothing about being a collector that inherently creates trolling behavior. To me, anyway, collecting has always been about an appreciation for figures as an art form. The insane amount of work that can go into them is something that should be appreciated.

It is my intent to try to help change that stereotype. I like to encourage free and open discussion and I like to play devil's advocate on a lot of issues. I like to champion a lot of issues for the sake of good, well-rounded discussion and I will argue a point that while I may not agree with, I still see as having merit.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. You're free to believe what you want to believe. It is my hope that together we will be able to promote more intelligent and informed discourse when it comes to our hobby, the industries that help furnish our collections and ultimately to instill a sense of pride and confidence in collector's because your voice means something. This is what we geek out about. For many of us this is a significant passion. For some it is a temporary pastime. No matter who you are, I hope you take something positive away from this place. At the end of the day, that's what's really important.
