Fans Hope To Mobilize With The "Save The LOST Action Figures Petition"

Fans of the figures from the hit TV show LOST have begun a petition aimed at convincing their manufacturer , McFarlane Toys, not to drop the line and to keep making product. The line has thus far produced two series and a total of 10 figures. Characters thus far immortalized in plastic range from current characters Jack and Kate to former characters such as Mr. Eko and with a new season on the way and no new figures anywhere on the horizon things are looking a bit bleak.

That's where GIOsplat steps in.

In the last two years fans of the hit TV series Lost have been given the privilege to own not only one, but two great series of Lost action figures based on the show. These collectibles greatly displayed the quality and effort from McFarlane Toys and even raised the bar further in action figure likenesses. After the second series was released and poor sales followed, the toy company giant seemed to be unsure if releasing a third series would be a financially smart move for the company.

Many fans are disapointed and feel that series 2 sold poorly due to the increased price and limited availability. Knowing there is still a huge fan base and great interest in these figures, some of us fans on the McFarlane Toys Message Boards started an online petition for fans all over the world to sign and express their desire for yet another guaranteed series of excellent toys.

We have posted the petition on many sites and have gotten hundreds of signatures in a matter of days. Our petition has even been posted on the front page of a major fan-site for Lost. And our petition is growing by the hour. The fans have been coming together to plead for many series of Lost figures to come. We want McFarlane to know that we love what he has done and want more of it!

As of right now there are over 620 signatures. If you love the show and love the figures, please sign. Joe F. over at the Spawn.com Message Board has already said that he's keeping tabs on the efforts, so that's encouraging. Remember, the customer's voice is important.
