According to both Matt T. and Joe F. the delay for the upcoming Collector's Club Exclusive Active Camo EVA Spartan is legitimate. Due to unforseen circumstances, it's being pushed back to a November 2008 release. The information provided in the email that went out today.
An official update IS in the works.
