Active Camo EVA Spartan Delayed?

According to a recent email sent out by someone who claims to be the Spawn.com eCommerce team the upcoming Active Camo EVA Spartan exclusive has been delayed until November.

I'm a bit suspsicious of the validity at this time since the email has some significant typos and the links appear to be bogus. At this time I would advise people to NOT click on the links or to take the email at face value. Once Matt T. or one of the Spawn.com staffers confirm how legitimate the info is I'll make sure to pass it along.

In the meantime, here's the text from the email

This email confirms we receive your original registration back in December 2007 for the Halo Active Camouflage Spartan Exclusive at the Spawn Store (http://store.spawn.com). Unfortunately, the figure has been delayed and will be released November 2008.

We are in the process of creating a brand new pre-order site to make things even easier for our customers. Previously when you registered, you entered your name and email address but there was no guarantee of how many you could buy or that the figure would be available when you return. We have now updated the system to let you pick the exact number you wish to buy and eliminates any concerns of any customer loosing out on the exclusive as you would be guaranteed the amount you enter for your order!*

This change to our pre order site will require you to register again for the Halo exclusive but this time choosing the quantity you would like to buy. We will have additional information on www.spawn.com regarding the release of the new pre-order site and the exact dates to place an order.
