Frosty the Snowman was a happy jolly soul. At least that’s what the song said. Along with his faithful wife Crystal Frosty has brought joy to the hearts of countless children over the years. Toy manufacture Round2 has brought the wonderful Christmas icons to life in their newest line. The line consists of four figures. Frosty the Snowman, Crystal, Jack Frost and Parson Brown. (Both of which I will be reviewing later next week.)

Packaging

Frosty and Crystal come in a very durable cardboard backed package. The plastic bubble engulfs the figure while the cardboard is the backing. Very user friendly for displaying all though it does take up a lot of space. On the back of the card are some pictures of every figure in the line along with a great holiday theme for displaying all four together.

Sculpt:

Honestly I don’t think you can expect too much from the sculpt. After all they are just snow people. However for being a rather plain sculpt it is rather good. Both figures have an open mouth and raised eyes. Crystal is sculpted with some hair. There is a lot more detail to the sculpt of the accessories.

Accessories:

These toys are jam packed with accessories. Frosty himself comes with a clothe scarf, magnetic top hat, a corncob pipe, and his ever famous broom stick. The top hat is painted a nice mild grey with a pink flower with a soft blue middle is in the center of the hat. The hats band is a deep rich black. The broom is straw yellow with some white on it. None of which bleeds into the other. The brown of the stick is cast in brown plastic so that is rather disappointing. His scarf is a yellow and orange pattern just like the cartoon.

Crystal comes with a detachable tiara that has a feux lace vale a bouquet that she holds in her hand and a clothe apron. The bouquet has a rich blue base and some softer blue flowers. The apron is supposed to be clothe but it is kind of the on the silky side.

Paint:

Both Frosty and Crystal are cast in a white plastic so there isn’t really much paint on the figures themselves. Frosty and Crystal both have red noses and great eye detail. But once again the accessories are the shining stars.

Articulation:

Each one of these figures has a decent amount of articiculation. They both have swivel heads, and hands, jointed shoulders and sliding legs that give the impression of walking.

Size:
These figures look well with other six inch figures.

Overall:

Overall I would have to say they are nice little set/ a tad on the pricey side with each piece being $7.99 per figure. With the exception of price and lack of paint I am greatly impressed by these figures and can’t wait to get the others in the set.
