McFarlane Reveals The Arbiter

McFarlane Toys released photos of thier Arbiter figure today. The fallen Elite commander is displayed in all his glory. Despite the prospect of a Covenant Carbine being included with the figure, all of the photography features the trademark Energy Sword. I personally think the paint could have a bit more of a gloss or metallic sheen to it on the armor and the blues could pop better than they do on this prototype, but I've been labeled as a perpetually unhappy nitpicker so you can take what I say with a grain of salt.

Here's a look at the article:

The announcement that McFarlane Toys would be producing Halo 3action figures was met with near hysteria by fans of both Halo and our toys.

We've already revealed photos our Series 1 figures and vehicles.

The anticipation for Series 2 has been building to a fever pitch, and today we bring you your first look at the Arbiter.

Though considered a high commander of the Elites, the Arbiter lost his honor among the Prophets when he failed to protect the first HALO. Disillusioned by the reason behind the Covenant's war against humanity, the Arbiter leads the Elites when they align with the UNSC.

McFarlane Toys brings the Arbiter to highly detailed life. This former foe to Master Chief is ready to finish the fight with the Spartan soldier against the Covenant forces, and the continued threat of the Flood.

- Weapons: Energy sword and carbine rifle
- 18 points of articulation
- Weapon storage capability: On leg and back

Still to come from Series 2: Master Chief, Drone, Spartans and Brute Stalker. Stay tuned to SPAWN.com for photos of these figures as soon as they become available!

Halo Series 2 figures are scheduled to be in stores June 2008.
